(2) LEARNING OUTCOMES
Learning outcomes:
The students who attend the lectures and study the subject matter through the paradigm of the Macedonian question are expected:
1. To realize the importance of dating the evidence and of determining its authenticity and type.
2. To distinguish between propaganda for domestic/internal use and scientific approach.
3. To achieve a capacity to view the past unencumbered by the limits of public-vulgar history.

(3) SYLLABUS
Content outline: The subject of the course is the historical view of the Macedonian Question, focusing mainly on the Greek policies proposed or applied in Macedonia before and after 1913. The course examines the conditions for the creation of the Macedonian Question in the context of European and Balkan competitions; its economic, social and cultural components, coupled with the promise of liberation; the integration and assimilation policies of the non-Greek-speaking populations in the Greek state; the devising of the strategy of the “non-existent” issue.
